WELCOME Binford Students & Parents to US History 1877 to Present:
As the school year moves on I am always looking for new ways to improve the way we learn and communicate. I have created the following website to help keep students and parents updated on what is happening in the class. I will also post links for students to use as they prepare for their classwork and SOL tests. Please check back for updates.

IMPORTANT DATES: 2 - Teacher Workday (students do not report) 6 - Quiz on the Allied and Axis powers during WWII and causes of WWII 12 and 13- Parent Teacher Conferences 16 - Presidents Day (NO SCHOOL) 17 - Begin in class radio broadcast project 19 - Natural History Museum Field Trip

Healthy School Challenge If you plan on signing up for the Monument 10K be sure to register as a Binford Middle School student. All participants will receive a free t-shirt for participating and the opportunity to win money for our school.
Fit For Life Kids Challenge I will be sponsoring an after school program to help support students who are interested in running in the 10 K. We will run as a group in Mondays and Tuesdays beginning January 20th for the 10 weeks leading up to the 10K. See the Binford PTA website for more information. |
